Brass Knuckles

Post by Fat Cat »

My brother broke a finger pounding on a thief, so I bought him a pair to keep in his shop. The wide-top knuckles are an excellent product for an excellent price:

I've never been able to finda a set of knucks that fit, I've got really big hands. Roll o' coins works almost as well.

That site reminded me that I've been wanting to get a blackjack, think I might pick one up. Anyone ever used one?

Blackjack/Sap they work very nice. Depending on your use, there are some very nice gloves available.

Just want something to go in the pocket, that I can use while wearing gloves, since these days I mostly go about in suit, long topcoat and gloves. So, the blackjack is probably a better option, since it would be a pain to take off the nice gloves and put on the working gloves.

Thanks,

R

Heh.
What do you do for a living that you'd be well dressed and yet want to risk bloodying your wardrobe?

not a risk if it's necessary. I don't go around looking for trouble or anything like that.

Try http://www.shomer-tec.com. They have two weights depending on the need. They'll last a lifetime. They also have a nifty sap cap. Look under impact weapons

The use of brass knuckles as opposed to a firearm or knife can only be described as humanitarian.

There is a bottle opener/fist load on South Narc's page. Very legal/lethal.

If you are interested, it is shivworks.com

Got me a 14oz blackjack from ShomerTech the other day. Well-made, sturdy motherfucker. Gonna order an 8oz for my gf, she really liked it. Haven't had a chance to use it, probably wouldn't post it if I did. Price was about $15 and they shipped it priority mail, so it only took a coupla days.

Browse the catalog, get the fake teeth and other appearance changing gear, take the sap on test drive and let us know.

Perfectly legal weapon:
I suspect many of you know this one.

Get a newspaper or magazine. Roll it up real tight. Try a sidehand blow to a cement wall (it'll go right through the drywall in your house.) This will give you an idea of the lead pipe quality of a blow from the gadget.

Should you be forced to use the thing, drop it after the damage is done. It's just a newspaper again.

Still can't find it. ShomerTech leads one into a maze of different websites and I can't find the blackjacks.

Thanks,

Jim

Damn, sorry I missed your post.

Re the blackjack, got my GF an 8oz one for Vday. Also picked up a key chain fist load that has a big pointy plug that points out from the knuckles, looks like fun. Would probably add some good heat to a beng to the solar plexus.

SeeAHill, I've tried the magazine thing, it fucking rocks. Read about it in some kung fu mag and a friend of mine pissed me off so I rolled that bitch up and roughed him up good. Did you see Bourne Supremacy? He does that in one of the scenes.

Ralph,
No, didn't see it in Bourne. A friend of mine, whose father was sort of an "enforcer" in one of the Chicago Unions, showed it to me years ago.
