Faggot with beard talks about nonsense.
About half way through, "At @fit, we train for failure..."
Now it's starting to make sense...these guys really ARE great at what they do.

Re: The couch thread
Lurking @Fers...be sure to check out this seminar, put on by real coaches who have had personal success in multiple real sports: Putting It All Together: Combining Weightlifting, Powerlifting, Gymnastics, and GPP to Work for You. Note that the seminar was posted on the @F message board and summarily deleted...even though a current affiliate is on the list of presenters. I will post the screen shot proof later.
That "training to failure" in the above clip is so true, compounded by this...
All of a sudden, Mikko Salo (the F@TTEST man on da planet, yo!) can't seem to find the time to compete IN THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS OF A REAL SPORT, when all of his expenses would have been paid, including getting pro coaching:
http://concept2cts.com/markets/crossfit ... qus_thread
So they're sending a backup, whom they will claim didn't have enough time to prepare--even though every @Fer (especially the best one in the world!) is ready for anything at any time, right?
I figure one of two things:
Yoga kicked my ass?

I figure one of two things:
- Mikko just wasn't going to do very well and they knew it.
- Mikko is still recovering from the massive overtraining (adrenal fatigue, call it what you will) he incurred while winning the @F Games.
Yoga kicked my ass?

Re: The couch thread
The fag in the clip talks about training FOR failure, not TO failure. Although @fit does train to failure often (it's called pushing the limits of hardkore, Quack.)
Training FOR failure prepares these shitheads for the inevitable...failure in sports (losing), failure in business (bankruptcy from a rhabdo lawsuit), failed marriages (most women don't like skinny, weak, diet obsessed kweers), failure in life (being a douche bag).
I've got a handfull of the jerkoff WAD followers at my job, and preparing them for failure seems like perhaps the most realistic and honest depiction of what @fit has to offer.

Someone more smarter than me needs to do a "Training for failure" motivational poster.

LOL!
We need one of those posters with a picture of a bloated, scruffy Glassman that just says, "I train to failure by following this guy."

I do so enjoy a good troll-esque post.

How come Coach doesn't do the WOD at these events?
Is there a reason for that? Are there any videos on this site of Coach doing a WOD, it would be cool to see the founder of CrossFit doing a workout. I've searched and haven't found any.
Will Coach be doing the Wod at the CrossFit Affiliate gathering?

I couldn't even read more than two comments on that thread without my Delude-O-Meter pinging off the scope. I don't know how any of you guys can consistently comb through the forumz and the comment threads without losing your minds.

No, Bony. Contrast that to most fitness-related sites that have a founder with accomplishments.

So, @fitters are famous for doing handstands in front of national monuments, historical places, hell, even the local coffee shop. Is this what @fitters do when they CAN'T do a handstand - some retarded monkey-looking biceps pose?
Do these two even workout? That guy is like 135#

Needless to say, I was not shocked when at my recent HG group practice at a park, there was a guy in a @F shirt with his wife and kids on the playground nearby who didn't even approach us to demonstrate how much more elite his fitness was than ours.
