That faggot has no muscle mass at all................
Most likely he was judging by the way he looks now.
Either that or he took a shitload...
too many people take that shit before they are "ready" to, ie a sufficient amount of base mass and strength first.

and yes, bmack is one of those guys that needs a beating..
Maybe its his insane narcissism about his training methods and the fact he DNF's almost everything and his cockiness about how CFE is the best shit since sliced bread.

I gotta find the right pharmacist.

It's obvious that B-boi wanted to thwart the blocky look that was inevitable with all the gear and lifting and shit. He was losing his twink appeal. Can't have that. How would he pay the bills?

What do you expect when you spend time cleaning 135-185 endlessly and doing handstand pushups.
"Know that! & Know it deep you fucking loser!"

you mean Couch's statement of a CrossFitter having a better physique than a BB is false??? :D
Re: The couch thread
No. Of course that fundamental principle holds true, as do all of Couch's fundamental truths. It is just that Couch didn't have the full 2 years to break BBoi down first. It is this 2 year "breaking down" period that makes it possible to then achieve a 700 lb deadlift and a physique better than a bodybuilder on steroids.Ash Uber Alles wrote:you mean Couch's statement of a CrossFitter having a better physique than a BB is false??? :D

if he had waited 2 years he could have pulled 700 and yelled lightweight while doing it.
then he wouldn't need the gear, he would be shitting Cypionate.

Re: The couch thread
Actually, this a very interesting and important discussion. Although I usually have a long "cost to benefit ratio discussion" when it comes to Anabolics, really it is a question of "when." If you take steroids, it is the Alpha "answer to all questions" (as we were told at a place that is clearly "anti-doping" on the sign!). I had a buddy for example, once tell me he had never, not once, thrown the discus clean. He was a shot putter who got hurt and switched over to the discus. So, he got little out of the "other steps."
If you start on the drugs, then learn the O lifts and the powerlifts, you aren't going to really see the impact of both the technical leaps and, really, probably the drug itself. So, when you go "off," you are going to slide pretty far down. The advice I was given years ago was to put off steroids and the ephedrine like supplements until you had maxed out your "natural" ability. The guy who told me this said to give it about eight years of dedicated work, then you would blast off again.
You can actually "see" where some famous names began supplementing. I won't tell you the name, but one guy made a great point that steroids can add maybe two feet to the shot put in just weeks. He went on: "Of course, if you are a shitty 52 footer (basically my best), you will still suck."
That was actually an eye opener for me.
So, if you decide you are elite with your 60 kilo snatch and 400 pound deadlift, drugs will boost you to maybe a better photograph in a gym with like sized people, but you still will be on the bad side of the bell curve. When you go off, you probably will slide back to a pretty low level.
More over, I'm sure that a guy can handle some pretty bizarre dieting issues on drugs. (Like one guy told me when I asked him if he was worried about "Positive Nitrogen Balance" with his food intakes: "I'd better be: I'm on a shitload of drugs.") So, going off would also expose one's nutritional issues almost overnight.
It's an interesting conversation, really. It also happened, in reverse, if you will, when ephedrine products were banned a few years ago. A guy at the GNC told me that one regular woman customer was almost unrecognizable within weeks of the ban. She was downing "Hydrycut" at the tune of several containers a month (more than one,for sure, I thought he said two or three, but that would be amazing). So, if you had a college girl get lean on ephedrine for a while without tweaking diet or exercising, when she loses her supply or goes off of them, I think you would see the opposite (fairly quick bulking).

I've never used performance enhancing drugs and my lifts prove it.

Re: The couch thread
I bet there's not much more than 10-15# lean mass difference in between those pics. It's that whole "Fight Club" thing. You see him in pics, he looks lean and jacked. In person, he'd look lean.
I would also suggest that perhaps he's on a low carb diet now, where you can be lean, but look flat and un-vascular.

Yeah I was just about to say, he doesn't look that much different to me. All those old pics he looks a lot more muscular, but it's amazing what shirtless homo pics under good lighting will do as far as that goes. Dude wasn't ever all that big in the first place, but a little muscle, a lot of lean, and good lighting will create an illusion of size.Shafpocalypse Now wrote:I bet there's not much more than 10-15# lean mass difference in between those pics. Now you look at him with a shirt on, maybe come off shit if he was on it so yeah he lost a little bit of size, but it's more an artifact of the pics than anything.
Re: The couch thread
Dude... do you remember the pics from when he was a CF "superstar" to now? the difference isn't lighting and clothing. Its huge.Jag Panzer wrote:Yeah I was just about to say, he doesn't look that much different to me. I think Shaf is close, it may be closer to 20 pounds though. But 15-20 pounds of lean mass on a guy of his frame and size is a lot of goddamn muscle. He's emaciated now...Jag Panzer wrote:Okay.
