I know it's not what you were expecting, but The Gorilla's Top Pic Of The Games is this one. According to The Gorilla's field reporter @FitEndurance's booth DNF'ed, shut down by mid-afternoon on Saturday, never to reopen.

He really makes it too easy for us.

Speaking of CFE.

Did anyone see this awesome pic from the CFE site? Clearly the well-rounded elite athlete who spent his time doing deadlifts and intervals instead of putting in the miles should be dominating all other athletes.

Except the fat ones in front of them, that is.

There's now two fake Couches running around on Twitter:

http://twitter.com/#!/NotGregGlassman

Now someone needs to make a BMack twitter account and cut off all his tweets mid-sentence.

The real joke is that pic was snapped and sent to me by someone HIGH up the @fit food chain, who knew that I would share it, which tells you just how much of a joke @FE is to even HQ and the community.

Then tell that person to do something about getting rid of that joke rather than sitting back and saying "yes sir", "no sir", "would you like tonic with that gin today, sir"

Fret not. There's going to be some serious housecleaning coming up at HQ as The 'Bok starts evaluating people's contributions to the brand and asking, Office Space-style "Just what do you DO here?"

does the housecleaning involve these things:

1. Shitty programming
2. Directors of training that actually fucking train
3. Getting rid of the embarrassment called Couch

If it doesn't its a waste of time. Let's face it, we all love to hate @fit but @fit would be so much better off with some real fitness people at the helm rather than what they have now. Castro and Budding are embarrassing to look at and the programming looks like they just juggled shit and wrote down what fell.

But then again, living on the endorphin edge of overtraining is what got them here.

Props to the Gorilla for the pic. I laughed so hard I nearly pissed myself.

Mayor McCheeze is just making it too easy. Since he doesn't race apparently, everything else around him is DNF'ing. If he keeps this up, he'll go the way of Buddy Lee and the Jump Rope certification.

Hell no. Say what you want about the failed cert, but Buddy Lee 1) was an Olympic wrestler, 2) has trained other Olympians, and 3) can actually do what he teaches at his own.

Buddy walks the walk. BMAC DNFs it.

GM,

Of course BMac doesn't walk the walk; walking isn't nearly intense enough to drive any adaptations. Training for long distance events should always be high intensity training since it

I can't either. The table of contents lists 100 chapters, but the book stops at 16.

He has been promising that book release for a couple of years now. Always willing to talk a big game, but never deliver.
