Just saw this quote, like no one has ever learned this hard lesson before:
Mark Allen wrote:"Do more faster really only worked for those so talented that their genetics were going to override the lunacy of their training and take them on to greatness anyway" (Mark Allen 1996, p. 9).

Lulz. The results from this will disappear just like all the other DNFs...

On Sept. 11, Chris Pace will arrive at the World Trade Center site after biking 150 miles and running 100 miles straight through. His goal is to raise $25,000 for The Disposable Heroes Project. He came on the show to talk about how this unique fundraiser originated and how he’s using only CrossFit to prepare and train for the monumental task. He also explained how CrossFitters can help and where the money will go.

Will someone PLEASE tell Katherine Derbyshire to shut up for just one day. The world is sick of hearing her "thoughts" on every single topic in existence. She is the Captain Obvious of the Internet.

Would much rather read an epic post from Barry Cooper than her "Are you recovering enough? What are your goals? I weigh 110 pounds and eat more than you, so you are anorexic" posts.

Here she is sucking up to the moderators.
Yes. It's their forum. If you don't like it, there are plenty of other forums on the internet.

I actually agree with most of your points, but my experience of the internet is that the *only* way that forums work at all is if the moderators are (hopefully benign) absolute lords of their domain. Otherwise the board degenerates into an endless cycle of second-guessing by posters and self-justification by moderators.
Not really. The people who pay the bandwidth bill have delegated their authority to the moderators in this case, and are quite capable of making their wishes known if they would like the moderation policies to change.

kreator wrote: MacKenzie has done neither. Worst of all is that he criticizes anyone who doesn't do exactly what he does when it comes to training. He's almost worse than Glassman in that respect because he's actually singled out athletes by name and say they're doing x incorrectly.
Think how good Ryan Hall, Macca and Michael Phelps - all athletes that I have heard or read Mackenzie critisize in the past several weeks - would be if they dialed down their training 80% and started drinking the kool-aid.

Actually, in Macca's case, I think the quote was something to the extent that if he did CFE he wouldn't has as good of times but would be far "fitter".

BMack had shit massive deconstuction of some triathlete about how it'd take him 3 years to rebuild him via CFE ideals and then he'd be so awesome he'd do the Ironman in 2 hours.

Ludicrious, really. The guy was already a dominant triathlete.

Derbyshire pollutes Pendlay's board too...."How to I get my snatch from 45# to 55#" and shit like that.

Here you go:
If Chris McCormack came to you and said "I want to win Kona this year (again)" how would you train him?
I’d tell him I can’t train him. An athlete like that is such a specialist that it would take me 2-3 years just to get him moving correctly enough to handle what I wanted to do to him. If I had 2-3 years and we could change his nutrition, and put some size and strength on him, all the while he still could move efficiently, then I would never let him do an unnecessary mile or minute of training again. Unfortunately, he probably wouldn’t be able to wrap his head around that, and have a break down, and secretly go out and swim/bike/run real long. I can’t give you his code for training because they are all different, but I can tell you he would not only not survive with me but would not win Kona if I only had a year.
http://www.gotrimax.com/TriMaxMacca.htm

That would be a super elite plan, actually. Tell someone that your training "code" is so advanced that it won't work in one year, but it would take 3 years, even though it won't work at all. Train them for 3 years at some exorbitant rate, fail, and then claim success because he brought his deadlift to 225!!!!!

Personally I'm deeply entertained by the "NO HYPE" slogan on BMack's girlfriend's supplement company's t-shirts.

That SFH company is so retarded (BMacnCheez's girlfriend) that they've been putting out info that carbs PWO are not needed AND are detrimental to health. All that one needs is their whey protein PWO and their magical supplement blend.

No wonder @FE folks don't finish...their nutrition is full retard too.

This is on par with Couch's 750 pound deadlift IMO. So much gold there. You basically have an "endurance coach" admitting that he can't keep an elite athlete at the top of the game, that @F training will cause physical breakdowns, and that you don't train X to compete at X.

He is a piece of fucking shit. He is about as cocky as it gets. That is like me saying that Adrian Petersen would be so much better if I trained him. I mean I really want to kick the shit out of BMack.

And looking at that list of fuckoffs, how can ANYONE follow a fitness program that has the likes of a fat, out of shape gin-swizzling sack of shit, a man who make a habit out of DNF's like I do with the word fuck, a loud-mouthed lawyer who's Olympic lifting is laughable, a bitch-titted ex-Navy Seal with legs that Cameron Diaz would kill for and a fat, stupid man who actually thinks that bouncing deadlifts increases power over stop and go.

I've asked before why someone hasn't directly called out this B'Mac-n-Cheese guy but from what I understand he's got solid backup that you'd have to wade through first to get to him. I can go with cocky as long as a fellow can walk the walk but shit talking with no performance to back it up is just another example of a pretender asshole.

Wait, so the workouts for the last three days are the exact same? I'd love to hear how this has been programmed a month in advance and exactly what HQ expects mom and pop to gain from doing Gaymes-Level workouts over and over and over ....
For time:
20 calorie Row
30 Wallball Shots, 20 pound ball
20 Toes to bar
30 Box jumps, 24" box
20 Sumo-deadlift high-pull, 108 pound kettlebell
30 Burpees
20 Shoulder to overhead, 135 pounds
120 foot Sled pull, sled plus 165 pounds
