You haven't used that particular brand then, have you? I'm familiar with the gymnastics grippers, cunt, as my wife did gymnastics, so I know the difference between the leather/leather-ish variety and that shit. The brand in that picture sucks because it's a kind of padded foam. I've used them and they suck. So suck some dick.

One of the downsides of the Internet is that it allows like-minded people to form communities, and sometimes those communities are stupid.

random idiocy from message boards..no search needed just retarded fucking questions all dayyy
Are corn chips any more/less paelo than potato chips? Of course I wouldn't eat them every day, but I'm curious how they would substitute for a snack craving over cookies, crackers, Little Debbie's, Twinkie's, etc.
Personally, I'm highly interested in starting yoga to increase my flexibility and stability. I've definitely tightened up since I started CF and serious weightlifting. I also injured myself yesterday while doing power cleans so it may be good to take a break from anything heavy.
Nailed my shin on the box on Sunday, check out what the bruise did. No pain whatsoever, except when I actually it...it feels fine now...

Um, that signifies pretty significant damage. Whether it's just soft tissue or not - who knows. Try jumping up and down on it. If that bothers it at a specific location, it might be worth it to visit the doctor and rule out a fracture.

The real gymnastics crowd throws up in their mouth a little after seeing this in the @FJ:
Kipping Handstand Push-Up Progression
With such gems as...
Shoulders and hands drive the kipping handstand push-up.

Definitely, you don’t want to push off of the head. You want to make sure you push off of the hands,” he says.
I predict neck injuries to be the next trendy "@F hurt me here" area.

This here indicates that couch's "nose to floor" handstand push-up was even more in line with @F's charter of "if there's a more injurious way to do an exercise, well dammit, that's the way we're going to do it!"
http://journals.lww.com/neurosurgery/Ab ... __a.7.aspx
Compression Injuries of the Cervical Spine: A Biomechanical Analysis

Three intact cadavers and 10 isolated cervical spinal columns underwent compression, with forces directed vertically, forward, or rearward. Failure modes were often different than force directions. The loads required to produce bony injury or ligamentous disruption ranged from 645 to 7439 N. Flexion and extension injuries were produced at approximately 50% of the loads required for axial compression failures. The direction of force delivery correlated only partially with the resulting pathological condition. Clinical decisions based on retrospective analysis of roentgenograms may not account for the variability of forces and the prominence of ligament injuries seen in spinal trauma. Some of the difficulties encountered in biomechanical analyses of spinal trauma are discussed. (Neurosurgery 13:254-260, 1983)
It's probably a better thing that they now put AbMats (gotta use them for something these days, right affiliate owners?) under their heads so that they can bounce of the floor with their noggins. Sure, that should help their spinal health...about as much as wearing football helmets protect necks too.

This could be the next big @F accessory after the shin guards for box jumps:
Image
The question will be how to get it to stay in place while shirtless WADding.

@Fers...spearing the floor with their heads since 2001.

I haven't read through the whole thing. Any bets on the exercise that broke her? Kipping pull ups? Box jumps? Thrusters?

The second page of the contract contains three additional sections: a "Release," discussed in more detail below; a paragraph entitled "Indemnification" with a blank for the participant's initials following the paragraph; and a paragraph entitled "Use of picture(s)/film/likeness" with a blank for the participant's initials following the paragraph. At the bottom of the second page is the following language in bold with portions underlined: "I have fully read and fully understand the foregoing assumption of risk, and release of liability . . . . I understand that by signing this form I am waiving valuable legal rights." Blanks for the participant's signature and date are at the bottom of the second page. Quintana's initials appear in each blank on the contract and her signature appears at the bottom of the agreement.
CrossFit and Dodson filed a combined no-evidence and traditional motion for summary judgment. In the traditional motion for summary judgment, they asserted that Quintana's claims were barred because she signed a release discharging CrossFit and its employees of all liability arising from her participation in CrossFit's fitness programs and classes. Quintana responded that appellees' release did not meet the requirements of fair notice.
This just scares me. How the heck is that not fair notice?

Give Annie a break. Anyone can get Tom Platz legs in 7 weeks provided you weigh and measure your 12 blocks and add fish oil.

I'm getting nervous about my sweet Annie. There's only so much penile growth a man can excuse before it becomes a dealbreaker.
What the heck did she do to herself? She was always my favorite. Heartbroken over here.

Isn't this the Games influence? A little is a good thing but more becomes excessive? i used to us her as an example to Asian women. Now they'd be scared of her. Me, too.

Let's be honest, the only reason why its popular is because so @fitters can think they are strong.
