I would love to go to a doc, but I have no insurance and very little extra cash to pay out of pocket. That puts a limit on what I can do.

I will see what can be done for a doc visit.

Is Dunn an American? For the record: this could not happen in the Evil Marxist Soviet Russia.
Is that because male life expectancy is so low that they don't live long enough to need health care?
You are falling into your own trap: life expectancy drastically decreased during the decade after Soviet Power collapsed and Russia became a capitalist state; during the 1970-s it was on par with the rest of Europe.

That picture somes up the whole movement.

Same tired socialist ideas. Same group of idiots.

They don't want government to change. They want the march towards collectivism and trynany to continue. The Welfare state is in the beginning stages of imploading and these dumb bastards haven't even woken up to this fact. Like spoiled children they want their Gvt Healthcare, Social security, Welfare, Gvt financially supoorted green jobs, Gvt supported and protected industries, Gvt supported higher education. Not realizing that it was these ideas are the causing the our problems. Plus, on top of their hubris, they demand some else pay for it. Now we have run out of other peoples money and the death spiral begins.

They're like diabetics, whos pancreas had finally stopped producing insulin, but still demanding a bakers dozen of glazed donuts.

I have nothing in common with these people. I hate them, the politicians, the public sector unions, and the corporations.

Like any other state USSR had its problems, some very significant. However medical care was accessible to everyone.

Is it lonely up there on your high horse fatty?

There is such a thing as bargaining yourself out of a job. It doesn't matter how good your agreement is if it kills the plant.

And I hate the fucking Teamsters because they were supposed to be the savior of my union and they've done fuck all but take my money.

As bad as my union is it'd be a lot worse with out it.

I am a company man. I want my benefits, retirement, decent pay, and quality of life but I want my company to succeed, grow, and profit. In a perfect world we'd all negotiate in good faith with reasonable give and take but this isn't a perfect world. So a union is a necessary evil. But the fact that I pay union dues so union officials can sit on their ass and not give a damn about the rank and file burns my ass. The upper echelon of the unions are no better than the company. They are as much a part of the problem as the company and are also part of the 1%.

A lot of times they're worse. It's always worst when the people claiming to be "on your side" and to have the worker's interests in mind are the ones fucking them without lube.

I fully turned against my former union when I saw my shop steward post Facebook pictures of himself, other union big dogs and managers playing golf together.

Dirty little secret-- nobody likes private sector unions. Had a conversation with several Congressional aides for Dem Senators/Congressmen-- they don't really care that the latest trade agreements will cost union jobs, but that they will (supposedly) create them in right to work states.

The promises to be coddled and taken care of like they were as infants are very powerful. Obama is a genius deiivering those messages. So they lie in their cribs, scream and holler until mommy comes and flips them that warm soft titty. Them was the good ol' days.
Obama's narcissism and arrogance is only superseded by his naivete and stupidity.

Yup. Too many people wandering around these days expecting someone to wipe their ass for them.

Problem is it's not just the individual's. There's a whole bunch of self-entitled corporate owners and bankers who expected Uncle Sam to do the same when they overate all that candy and got a screaming case of the shits.

It's a societal problem in general that crosses party lines. How it's manifested is the only difference.

“A democracy is always temporary in nature;
it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government.
A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover
that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury.
From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates
who promise the most benefits from the public treasury,
with the result that every democracy will finally collapse
due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship”
