now everyone likes the poster.Glassman explained to me that the poster was wholly inspired by his visit to Phoenix Children’s Hospital Pediatric ICU two years ago while his son was a patient there. He described seeing this exact scene- An attractive female nurse pulling a train of four wagons, each containing pale, sick children with black eyes, hunched over looking like nothing even close to human. He said it made him weep right on the spot. He says he stands by the posters artistic representation and potential effect on the cause. He said seeing "the wagons" has changed his life forever.
have you ever been as far as even considered go want to do look more like?

Lies.
One of the downsides of the Internet is that it allows like-minded people to form communities, and sometimes those communities are stupid.
Re: The couch thread
So, teh couch was drunk at the time and confused the strip club naughty nurse, for the actual nurse in the hospital? Come on. It looks like she's pulling kid parts for fuck's sake.

Glassman preying on the machismo sensitivities of the average Crossfitter. If the poster is honestly disgusting to you, you'd probably not survive a visit to see the real thing. I get that.
You don't like Crossfit? It's because you're not tough enough to do the workouts.

Re: The couch thread
Steve Pulcinella commenting on a Xfit snatch video.
How come they are so strict and have rules when it comes to exercises they just made up a few weeks ago like "wall balls" and "toes to bar" but when it comes to a real lift that has been around for a hundred years, that has actual rules, they just do it any old fucking way without a care in the world?
Take care and please.....................stay safe.

Ahahahaha.
Glasshole literally has no moral compass whatsoever. It's kind of awesome to watch the sheeple fall for everything he says hook, line and sinker.

Re: The couch thread
I do remember the whole story about Glasshole and the hospital.
Something about his wife was in there and he did something shitty.
So the poster reflects him being an asshole?
No wait, that was another hospital story.
Though, as I have expressed elsewhere, on the whole poster drama, I do want that t-shirt.

Marketing campaigns where the marketer has to come out and explain and apologize usually aren't considered successful.

I have no idea why the KoolAid drinkers keep bringing my name up in their sad, weird little Flame War on Facebook about this sad, weird little PR fiasco, but keep it up. I hadn't expected a dormant blog to deliver a pop in ad revenue via google searches, but it's great, and I haven't had to do a thing.
In the meantime, I'm still retired. They're thinking about me, but I'm not thinking about them. Feels good.

It's our fault we don't get it. It's our fault we're too weak to stomach the greatness and truth that they're trying so very hard to reveal to us.
By the way, I called the Phoenix Children's Hospital and asked about the little red wagons. The nice lady who answered the phone told me that while the wagon can sometimes be used by family members to move kids around if they want a ride, they're usually used to move stuff out of the kids' rooms when they get discharged.

Re: The couch thread
At Mott's, they have one of those battery operated trucks, that the kids can drive down to the ER before surgery. Once I saw a really fucked up kid being driven down the hallway by his little brother, with the parents behind them, the dad was trying not to audibly sob.
That scene fucked me up, I had to go and try not to audibly sob myself and compose myself somewhere in quiet. Heartbreaking.

I don't know who are badder motherfuckers....the staff, who see that shit every day, or the kids themselves, stoicly enduring the pain and helplessness of their illness, and their treatments, which somedays I have to wonder if it wouldn't just be best to let them go.

Unlike the scumbags who thought that shit up, I've collectively spent weeks hanging out there, and even now I'm down there every 3 months or so.
