I just keep watching the trailer, then when I go to watch Weeds, they show that little preview all the time and I get a four hour erection for which there is no cure. Except Homeland reruns on demand.

I know, right? What do you think is going to happen with that crazy broad's mind now that she's gotten her brain electrocuted?

I think now for awhile at least, she's just a cunt. Before getting shocked she was crazy and smart and a cunt. She lost the first two. Basically, she's a female version of Proto now. But without the blueberry squirts.

I got the feeling that she was a cunt because she was smart, in spite of being crazy.

So maybe she'll be all like Rain Man, but a woman. Ya dig?

I like your perspective. And I'm so excited about Boardwalk's return I could almost roll my own shit into little balls and throw it at people.

Almost?

What do you think Nucky does when he finds out his Irish hussy donated his money to the Church? Kick her in the stomach?

OH FUCK! I completely forgot about that. I've had such a man-crush on Jimmy that all I've been thinking about is him not being on there anymore. Damn, that's gonna be some crazy shit right there. He'll prolly order his IRA hitman to wack her and he will, with his cock.

Mushroom stamps all around.

Shit. Sundays are just gone for me this fall. Football, the recording of Strike Back with its titties, bombs and terrible story, then Boardwalk and Homeland? Can a nigga get a minute to collect himself?

If you're hanging out drinking a few beers or using the volcano, it's worth an hour or so. I wouldn't stay in on a Friday night to watch it, but put it on the DVR and come back to it... why not?

Lots of titties, bombs, shooting, cussing, British accents and one American character who is actually a Brit or an Aussie, I think. It's pretty fun, but don't expect The Wire, Boardwalk, Homeland, The Brotherhood or even Weeds.

A fun way to check out for an hour.

I've got to get on the Game of Thrones bandwagon and also Breaking Bad. Can't believe I've let those slide by. I may have to be hospitalized if Mad Men doesn't come back soon.

I'm holding off on Breaking Bad and Mad Men. Not sure for how long.

I almost bought the whole series of Mad Men the other day until I realized how retarded that would have been.

Baff my brother you are no doubt a hip cat but you're not a child of the 60's so even though you'll get it, the little things that hit me in the gut will pass you by. The interior design, clothing, mannerisms and dialogue are all spot on and take me back to that time as a punk kid. I was twelve years old in '69 and I don't think about that time much, no reason to, but there's been a few times where I've been watching Mad Men and something will happen that actually unlocks a hidden little gem tucked away in my head and I'm just blown away by it. And if Don Draper and Roger Sterling are not two of the most awesomely cool but incredibly damaged fucked up characters ever played on tv I don't know who else it would be. I think the episode in season four where Roger goes apeshit over the firm doing business with Honda is some of the finest writing and acting I've ever seen on tv.

That's what I keep hearing. It's like a time machine for people who were around back then.

I figure between the chicks dressed all 60's style and what sounds like cool story lines it ought to be mandatory viewing, even without the benefit of "been there" perspective.

Baff I'm sorry bro but we all talked about it on the secret "over 50" forum that runs IGx and decided that you can't watch Mad Men. It will no doubt show your parents or your grand parents in not the most positive light and we're not sure you can handle this. It could wreck your world and although lying, cheating, drinking and smoking are a part of our world which gives us comfort, we're not certain this would be best for you.

I dunno. My family's pretty fucked up:
- My grandmother on my mom's side claims her first husband, and the father of my mom's three older sisters, was a pimp. Then the four younger ones just found out their mom and dad were never married, basically making them all bastards, I guess. They're all 55 and up now and just learned this maybe 5 or 6 weeks ago.
- My grandfather on my Dad's side left my grandmother for her sister. Dad's younger half brother ended up being his cousin, but younger bro didn't know until grand dad died and he found a bunch of shit in their house when he was cleaning it out. Oh, and my grandfather put my dad's older half brother in an orphanage in Hawaii when he was 4 or 5 until they divorced a couple years later because it wasn't his kid.

Am I emotionally prepared and ready, or should I hold onto what good memories I may have left?

Your call bro. I'm good either way.
