Macallan 18 is very nice. Do what you need to do and, after an appropriate period of morning, get another bottle. You'll learn to love again.

Re: Sad times...
OK, this is sadder than sad.
A few years ago, The Maccalan had an advertising program where they brought in writers from various magazines to speak to selected subscribers. I gave a talk at the Explorer's Club in NYC. EZ audience: they'd all had two nice shots of scotch and were receptive and willing to laugh.
After the speech, I went out to my adoring fans to mingle and sign books. I had been given three bottles of the 18 year old that I left under the lectern. When it was time to leave, all three bottles had been stolen.
That's sad.

What's to be sad? Only faggots drink scotch.

I dunno, I never really got into scotch; I prefer bourbon.

Hilarious! I was hoping that would slide. I know it looks a little homo. Okay here's the story. I have this friend who's dad is an old time musician/hippie. He's 69 years old. For nearly 40 years he's been making these bracelets by hand. So you can't buy one. He gives one to you. But you have to be cool to get one and promise to wear it. So I've got one and my son has one. I was number 293 I think.baffled wrote:What's with the bracelet?

One of the downsides of the Internet is that it allows like-minded people to form communities, and sometimes those communities are stupid.
Re: Sad times...
I have ruined every good bourbon with seven up and a lemon. It takes me where I want to go .Last session started with Bookers 128 proof,4 fingers in a mixing tin ,lots of ice and a big lemon wedge on top of said soda...Two of those and we left the Titty bar to go clubbing...then ..a few Knob Creeks and sevens and then makers and and sevens at the next joint ...then back to the titty bar ...then the pimp I was sitting next to got busted for stealing one of his bitches rental car and tore the shit out of it... this led to a three day hangover, I havent had shit since halloween.

Re: Sad times...
That "bracelet" is gay on a multiverse level beyond ordinary human comprehension. Put it in a lead case and throw that into the deepest ocean trench you can find. You'll still be gay but others may be saved.
It's great to be first at last

Re: Sad times...
Hey, I have feelings okay? And I'm just saying they are hurt. During this week where we are supposed to be giving thanks for slaughtering our native American brothers and taking their land from them perhaps we could also be cool and not make fun of others because of their personal jewelry choices. I never wore a bracelet in my entire life then some aged hippie makes this one by hand that has some spiritual connotations and gives it to me after we had smoked out and I was half shit-faced already. You fuckers have a base level of meanness that can be very hurtful. I have also been accused of being homo x's 10^10th power by the engineers at work...do you realize how bad that is? Engineers? I school these fuckers regularly since they're unhip supernerds but this bracelet has become my cryptonite. I've got to much invested in it now...I can't take it off.
