Just fair. They have a lot of padding right accross the knuckles. This makes a long lever for wrist flexion, so if you hit inaccurately it can fuck up your wrist. Other than that, they are fine. When I put them on, I want to smash.

Check out the new Fairtex catalog. They have a new style that looks like they'd be awsome for grappling in MMA settings. Elastic around the fingers so you can actualy use your hands.

Arms are the only true badge of liberty. The possession of arms is the distinction of the free man from the slave.

I prefer dangerous freedom over peaceful slavery.

Those are different than the ones that I am using, which are blue and have a different thumb. Those look nice.

Order their free print catalog. I believe they may have a version with out the elongated thumb.

It's all good shit.

These, by the way, are very nice for the money.

Considering that fairtex makes great shit it's probably the biggest bang for the buck I've seen so far for bag gloves. They may say training gloves, but they are ment for hitting the heavy bag and focus mitts.

Plus, it's made in USA friendly, great ally, Tailand. Can beat that.

I may return my everlast pair and buy the a pair of Balck 10 oz Fairtex gloves.

Good thing you weren't in the freshman logic class I taught.

You said:

"What if this person was fighting in a tournament that mandates gloves?"

To which I said that's not fighting, meaning that's a sport with rules.

You're response is:

"Next time I see a Soldier or Marine back from iraq I'll tell them that because they didn't duke it out bare fist they were not fighting."

We went from a BJJ tournament to a war to prove bag gloves are good - I simply don't know how to respond.
"my body stayin' vicious, I be up in the gym, just workin' on my fitness"

Good thing I wasn't because your satements are pure opinion. Nor did you make any clarifications like like " To which I said that's not fighting, meaning that's a sport with rules." in your origianl post. You said "That's not fighting" which is extremely vague and is wildly open to interpretation. That is preciseily why I made the wild claim about Soldiers and Marines fighting. Your statement was too broad and opinionated to be taken seriously.

Also, I'm not a BJJ stylist. Nor is Koyku fighting a grappling tournament. Nor I'm I training for a BJJ tournament. A simple reading of my posts and training log would reveal that. You and Garm make some huge assumptions about my training. I state that I'm cross training in Boxing. I even have a boxing trainer. The purpose of cross training is to get in some sparring. What lead you to logically conclude that I would spar in boxing gym & with a boxing trainer w/ out gloves?

Garm expressed some reservations about using gloves. I said I understood his point and that there was a reason for my training and that I would be working with my hsing-I instructor at a later date to incorporate this into a Traditional ICMA frame work.

I then go further and stated, Yes one would want to condition the hands before engaging in bare handed fighting. I also said that it makes sense to me to use sporting equipment like gloves, head gear etc in training and that a mix of old and new ways was best.

I simply can't believe that you've taught logic or that you posted that.

Did this last week. BTW-the title boxing people were great when I returned the Everlast bag Gloves. Credited my account as they stated and didn't charge me any restocking fee etc. I'll be buying more stuff for Title in the future.

Ordered a pair of these from Fairtex.

My only dig against Fairtex is that they run out of things fast and don't have a large werehouse capacity in the San Francisco location. I waited almost 6 weeks for a banna bag to arrive from Tailand last year. I recommend calling them and asking them if they have it in stock before ordering.

I called, got the OK, ordered them, and the just arrived as promised.
