You're correct, easy for them to run with but that pretty much goes for anything. I've seen shit charged and prosecuted that was so far out in left field it wasn't even believable.

Just like everything in law enforcement, it depends.

It's not just what they could charge you with that would stand up at trial - it's what they will charge you with to intimidate you into pleading guilty to something.

Blunts, bowls, bongs in years past. Even ate some brownies once. Now the vaporizer seems to be the thing. Anyone tried it? What did you think?

More on the gun front:

The District of Columbia is beginning the process or re-registering firearms.

The Washington Times reports the re-registration process went into effect Jan. 1 and that renewal is required for an estimated 30,000 guns registered before 2011. The renewals will be staggered through December 2015 based on the gun owner's birth date.

Police say gun owners will get a notice giving them a three-month window to re-register.

The city passed a firearms law in 2008 that requires gun owners to re-register their weapons every three years. The law is currently being challenged in court, but the case has yet to be resolved.

Police say renewing a registration will cost $48, no matter how many guns a person owns. Registration also includes fingerprinting and passing a background check.

Not sure how being a drug user will affect gun owners in areas with these laws.

If you have an eight that you want to experiment with, may I suggest the Green Dragon:

1 - Take your 1/8'th and grind it very fine in a spice grinder or some some other grinder or food processor

2 - Spread the grounds on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil and bake @ 375 for 5 minutes (this converts all of the THCA into THC). Very important step if you want potent Dragon. Your ground bud will take on a slightly brown color. Do not go beyond 5 minutes here or you'll end up vaporizing your THC and defeating the purpose.

3- Put the grounds and 4 ounces of Everclear or Golden Grain into a small container that you can use as a double boiler. You want as high a proof as you can get on the alcohol. I've heard of people using Bacardi 151, but I've always used Everclear.

4 - Bring a pot of water to a boil and put the container of weed/Everclear into the boiling water. Put a thermometer into the pot container and let it simmer at 120 degrees F (alcohol's boiling point) for 20 minutes.

5 - After 20 minutes the alcohol should have reduced by about 1/2, leaving you with a dark green liquid. Pour this off into your storage container. Strain all the goodness you an out of the leaves, I use cheese cloth to squeeze out all the Dragon I can.

1 milliliter of this will give you a seriously nice mellow. 2 could couch lock you for the day. I use an eye dropper to dose it out. BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS SHIT. It hits much harder than most edibles and last for a loooong time. How much you've got on your stomach seems to affect the results more than anything. I like to put an eye dropper into a Dale's Pale Ale and enjoy the afternoon. I've seen an experienced pot smoker put 2 droppers into a shot of whiskey on an empty stomach and he was fucked for the day.

Smoking some wax in a vaporizer is the best. So much stronger and it tastes like the smell of the bud unburned. it tastes like taking a big whiff of a jar of bud. Done often it will ruin(greatly increase) your tolerance for smoking bud though.

Ingesting weed sucks. Too big a dose(easy to do) can fuck up/bloat your stomach and the high is almost like you're tripping, but not in a good way
