What a stupid fucking sport. How can you let an important game end in a tie?

Even with a tie, that game was more exciting then the Super Bowl... And I'm a Seahawks fan.

I wouldn't know. I didn't bother to watch. You know why?
Because all the efforts if the players are wasted by a governing body that allows a match like that to end in a tie.
At least Team USA's coach has been proved right.

Not sure if you're being serious. Do you understand how the scoring system works in world cup?

Your loss for not watching. This has been some of the best sports viewing I've had in my life, including seeing my Giants win the 2010 and 2012 World Series.

I think the refs were trying to give Miguel Herrera an aneurism today.

Fat Cat?

Croatia Vs. Mexico Fan Brawl Features Shirtless, Smoking Hero

see 0:58 on

Right after Mexico took a 1-0 lead in yesterday's World Cup match against Croatia, a fight between the nations' supporters broke out in the stands. The fight featured quite a few reckless haymakers, a lot of shirtless Croatians, and one amazing badass.

Notice the burly older gentleman in the foreground, who wants nothing to do with the bullshit unfolding behind him. He just stands there like a boss, taking deep, luxurious drags from his cigarette while all hell breaks loose around him.

This is how a man who has seen some shit reacts to a silly brawl between soccer fans. He's not getting involved because he knows that if he did, someone would end up dead.

After a few minutes, he decides to walk off in search of a quieter seat. Yesterday wasn't really a good day to kill a man.

You gotta ask yourself, "am I going to waste a perfectly good cigarette?"

That these spectacular events involving the star of another team always seem to involve Italy. Zizou is badass, Suarez seems to be a different matter.

Belgium (my guess as to who we'll face) is going to be tough, but fuck it. We've proven we can hang and are playing with some fire. Bring it on.
