The idea that the Ukrainians are the good guys and the Russians are the bad guys in this fight is laughable. The sad truth is both the Russians and the Ukrainians have legitimate beefs with each other. We should just stay out of it and let nature take it's course.

there already ~470 ukrainian soldiers crossed Russian border to take refuge from rebels.
All of them were simply returned to Ukraine.

Today (28.08.20014 ), ~60 ukrainian soldiers, again crossed russian border and asked for refuge.
So in total it is already more than 500.
Now what are they talking about 10 russian soldiers? :)


I think after this those ukrainian soldiers who will ask for refuge, will not so simply returned to Ukraine.

The Russians are definitely playing games and are pulling the strings in Eastern Ukraine. However, the West is also playing a game. First off insisting that the Maiden Square Coup is legitimate, while the eastern Russian Speaking Ukrainian areas (particularly Crimea) desire for self determination is illegitimate. Secondly, ignoring the fact that the Ukrainians are shelling separatist held civilian areas. The Ukrainians are not exactly the poor little victims the West wants to portray them as.

I heard about only one American volunteer and he was on Ukrainian side.

Adventurous types from across the globe are pouring into Ukraine for some adventure on both sides. There is supposedly a large contingent of Greeks fighting in Eastern Ukraine for the Pro Russian side..

I'm conflicted. I personally have no objection to Russians or Ukrainians. That said, the Russian government has an officially anti-American and pro-Fascist position, so I'm kinda like, fuck 'em. While I don't feel like we should become involved, I don't see any harm in obstructing Putinovtsi ambitions. They know that they can't do shit to us militarily, but the cornerstone of their policy is to play on post-Iraq American isolationism, and to some extent your stance plays into that.
