This is pretty much the Fabian strategy and it sounds to me like it makes sense with this particular crop of shitbirds. Harass them and make sure they churn through their resources as quickly as possible. They are repugnant but it's hard to get excited about taking up with their enemies, most of whom are just slightly less repugnant.
