Aside from an innocent man losing his life, this incident is a tragedy in that it will only fuel the stereotype that all cops are racist and violent psychopaths.

On the bright side, the cell phone footage may finally lay to rest the stereotype that all black guys are fast runners.

Cops are supposed to have the same rules as anybody else... fire only when fearing death or serious injury. Imagine the carnage if it was legal to shoot people for just fleeing arrest. And the cop repositioned the taser. Evidence tampering on camera to boot. He's toast.

Oh yeah, there are 'good shoots'/justifications of deadly force against fleeing felons, but there is no justification on God's Green Earth for that....who the fuck knows what was going through his head. Having said that, child support and child custody laws in this country are fucking bullshit. The best you'll get is a hefty child support order from the local magistrate, and some time in fucking jail if you fail to comply.

However, I'll admit that they (especially the males) get shafted on bullshit child support payment arrests, and even bigger bullshit felony convictions for possession of weed. Amerikkka might as well come to grips with the fact that blacks are going to have most kids out of wedlock, and that they are going to smoke weed like you and I hit a Miller Lite after mowing the lawn on Saturday afternoon. So, having all these heavy handed laws that don't really deter the unwanted behavior, but simply punishes people on the back end, just perpetuates generation after generation of black males getting lost in the criminal justice system with bullshit charges making them undesirable and unemployable. I'm smart enough and big enough of a guy to admit that.
