In African countries that do not have legal hunting, there is almost no conservation, and the poaching is rampant. The lion and elephant populations have been destroyed.

In the countries with legal hunting, the income supports the conservation efforts, and numerous local jobs.

That's one side of the story. The other - fat fuck with shitload of money shooting an animal which is brought to him by the rangers on the leash. (This is pretty obvious, as the guy cannot possibly walk half a kilometer). And while his money pays for things it doesn't make him less of a wanker. Paying children for sex sure helps them feed their families, but doesn't make the payer less of a paedophile.
