Just a few days ago I was googling on that Prince solo where he melted everyone's face off at the Rock Hall of Fame awards. He was definitely one of my favorite guitarists.

I enjoyed his music up until he did the Batman soundtrack. That, and everything that followed was pretty much shit.

Musical genius...I think so. Also a supreme dumbass in other areas. He believed in Dick Gregory type conspiracy theories like the white man was poisoning ghetto folk with chemtrails and manganese tainted malt liquor. Srsly.

I only really love a dozen or so of the standard '80s hits, almost nothing after the name change was good... but everything he put out was interesting. I can respect that from an artist even if I don't necessarily want to listen to it.

I never noticed the guitar throw at the end of "My Guitar Gently Weeps" until someone pointed it out yesterday. Scary job for a roadie.

That putz Tom Petty looks annoyed the entire time Prince is styling on everyone there.

It looks like the picture is reversed and sped up in parts for some reason. Copyright purposes I guess. Still a great performance though.
