Well, all of the really good @fitters are qualifying for the gaymes. They don't have time for bench pressing 225 for reps.Dan Martin wrote:I was watching the NFL combine today. Seems to me the CrossFitters should be dominating just by showing up.

A lot of people would be better off doing Strongman.Dan Martin wrote:I was watching the NFL combine today. Seems to me the CrossFitters should be dominating just by showing up.
As far as baseball players doing CrossFit, hardly. Baseball players would be better off doing Strongman.

Sure they do. It doesn't take long to fail at removing the bar from the rack.Yes I Have Balls wrote:They don't have time for bench pressing 225 for reps.

From the Thomas Plummer blog:
you will drain the Perform Better warehouse filling your club with kettles, ropes, medicine balls and other tools that professional sports people have been embracing for years. As a side note, when was the last time you watched a professional athlete go around a circuit as his strength component.

Also, @Fit made MILO this month. I haven't read it yet.
Fran and Helen are also great, especially when we sub ring rows for pull-ups and stop the kettlebell swing at head height

Re: The couch thread
So this ball licker is 172lbs at 5'10'' and is eating 110 grams of protein a day! He is manorexic and no one has the stones to tell him to eat like a fucking man. You feel like a freak walking down the beach because you have a serious eating disorder and are so fucked up you think they are looking at you because you're ripped!Hi all,
Matt fom OZ here, my wife & I have recently gone onto the Zone diet (after doing Cert 1 Accred). I am about 5`10 & 182.6lbs (82kg)now- and was pretty lean prior to zone-in 4 weeks I have lost about 7-10 pounds-I am ripped-abs look ridiculous-walk down beach, starting to feel like a freak! my wife is the same-we are both early 40`s-I am having about 16-17 blocks of food a day. I train hard & do fair bit of physical work (as a trainer).
I dont want to get leaner or lose more weight-can anyone suggest the amount of blocks I should eat (having 3 meals of 4 blocks & 2-3 2 block snacks a day at present).
Or will my body fat & weight stabilize soon,Is this normal?
Any advice would be much apreciated.
@Fit encourages and rewards this dumb shit!

Is anybody sure if @F Obsession's affiliate was under ANYC and B-Boy, or was it Blauer's?WildGorillaMan wrote:Since the dumbass newbie bobbled it, I'll take the turnover. Why have ANYC and BBoi de-affiliated?

If it was Blauer's, I mean, who didn't know already that it was only a matter of time until Blauer & couch/Asstro/Pudding would have the @F ritual falling-out?

Bboi's pedigree is straight up glassman. Maybe greg was insisting on another tag team of barky. Like everything bboi knows glassman or the others taught him.
Quite unusual. Myabe it's another tiff with HQ.

Wasn't it concluded that @FObsession was paid for by ANYC's trust fund?
In other news, either I missed this before, or it hasn't reported on before. How many of you already knew that Sharibaby was hanging with Methcalves?

True, QA, I think it was Blauer's affiliate.
Obviously he and Castro would have a falling out at the bare minimum.

Re: The couch thread
If Blauer had any part, he was most likely a co-owner. I found some guy by the name of Rob Nicholson named as the co-owner on a post in Sept 2009.
WGM - if Shari is letting MethCalves slime his way into her panties, he must be keeping Summer Wesson in the dark (unless she's into sharing).
From what I can tell, MethCalves' butt-buddy (aka BMack) is letting others take over teaching his endurance certification course and Shari is one of the new instructors. Would explain that really bizarre group photo on the bed of that hotel room.

Re: The couch thread
I don't have the patience to look for it, but somewhere in this thread it was mentioned a while back that there was some kind of a to-do about equipment. Something like Couch having bought tons of equipment for Blauer and B-Boi that was originally intended to be used for mobile certs but ended up being housed and used day to day at their place. Or some shit. Fuck now I have to go look.

Re: The couch thread
That's about right, dakat.
It's dollars and cents. Blauer has the name. Hell, BBoi and Barky are known in their area. Couchfit--with his annual affiliate fee, RRG $$, and gin fund assessments--has outlived its usefulness to them.
Barry Cooper had a good point with his dotcom vs. local bit, and that's probably why he got banned. The successful local affiliates have enough stroke among their hometown jackasses that they could cut the cord wtih HQ.

Sorry, not banned. He was moderated (what happened to me before my eventual dismissal). All of his posts were subject to moderator approval. So he'd put about ten 2000 word posts in the queue, and they'd just let it die.
It was, ironically, when Barry was defending Couch on something.
Apologies.

Re: The couch thread
I find it curious that after months of my (and others) efforts trying to get a rise out of him on mainpage about his alcoholism, lack of working out, his verbose attacks on anything that he doesn't agree with, that it took @stro's meltdown at the Black Box Summit (and HQs denial) to finally see that couch has been lying to him all along. He hasn't posted on the boards since mid-December.WildGorillaMan wrote:Barry Cooper got banned? What are we gonna do without him?
Good fucking riddance Barry.
