I've been out in as cold as 19 degree F weather and waded ankle deep water, ankle deep mud, and knee high snow drifts and the only thing that go cold was my knee caps. And I usually suffer from freezing ass cold toes in the fucking summer. And as much as I hate to say it I'm digging the added warmth and support for my lower leg so I'll be picking me up some compression socks for warmer weather runnind post run recovery.

ive never been in a "fight" and that may have something to do with it, but about once a month ill have a dream where i get into a fight and i am totally incapable of landing a punch or when i do i cant hit hard.

Wearing Skinz is fine if you're doing the following:

1.) Running in the cold or in anything that could scratch up your legs (e.g. Bushwhacking on a trail)
2.) Running long-ass distances well above a 10k
3.) Wearing them as a recovery aid

That's it. Anything else is begging for ridicule.

But I wouldn't spend the money on Skinz when you can do fine with a pair of knee-high diabetic socks and just cut the feet off of the them. A hell of a lot cheaper ($5 at Wal-Mart versus spending $30+ on Skinz) and just as effective.
