On a lighter note, let's run this one up the unspeakable black obelisk and see if anyone Iä’s.

Re: The couch thread
Love to see those faggots line up opposite a New Zealand Rugby team and do that before the Haka.
Re: The couch thread
It'd be funnier if they did it against some real cannibals.

Nothing to see here, people. Move along.
LOL at @FHQ when they deny blown Achilles tendons from high-rep box jumps, when articles from their own affiliates come out like this, and both Starrett and Paoli feel the need to put out multiple videos on how to prep for this workout to minimize the chance of completely destroying one's Achilles (see link for videos).Achilles Destroyer
Who is ready for Games WOD 12.3??
Well… not me, at least not yet. The reason for this is that I know that high rep box jumps are an achilles tendon destroyer. And not in the nice, “ouch, my achilles is sore” type of way, but the “BOOM, MY ACHILLES JUST TORE” kind of way. Unfortunately, achilles tendons do not strain first as a warning like a muscle would do. They get painful and inflamed, and then if you ignore them for too long and add in a ton of loading that your body isn’t used to (a recreational basketball game or high rep box jump workout), there is a chance you could cause a complete rupture.

What is it with @fitters incessant need to spout this self affirmation crap ? And lulz at the comment "We are Rockstars"!
We have only one "motivational" quote at my gym, it's "STFU and train."

I will fight. I will struggle. I will scratch and crawl my way to that PR. I will keep going when I think I can’t. I will succeed even when it seems failure is the only option. I will count me in when others count me out.
Who are you to think you can defeat me? Who are you to underestimate me? Have you ever lived in my head? Breathed my air? Felt my soul? No. And if you did, you would be smart enough to be scared. Very scared.
Cause I'm going to be the Crystal Light Aerobics Champion!
She didn't actually say that last part.

Re: The couch thread
What I find amazing is the way they brag about their stupid injuries. It starts with posting pics of torn calluses, and progresses to risking paralysis to be a champion exerciser, and wearing that like a merit badge. What a duck says wrote:http://www.crossfitsouthbay.com/2012/03 ... destroyer/LOL at @FHQ when they deny blown Achilles tendons from high-rep box jumps, when articles from their own affiliates come out like this, and both Starrett and Paoli feel the need to put out multiple videos on how to prep for this workout to minimize the chance of completely destroying one's Achilles (see link for videos).Achilles Destroyer

It's a perfect storm of ignorance, arrogance, and low self esteem.

Not to mention the irony that, whatever this is ends up producing the same bodies and builds for both men and women as @fit does.Mickey O'neil wrote:Agree.kreator wrote:syaigh wrote:

I don't know what move is going on at around 0:30 but it would definitely fit in at the Gaymes.

And the terminology is similar, too. They are trying to find the best aerobic "athletes".WildGorillaMan wrote:Not to mention the irony that, whatever this is ends up producing the same bodies and builds for both men and women as @fit does.Mickey O'neil wrote:Agree.kreator wrote:syaigh wrote:
