NEW YORK CITY — Two Colombian brothers received $1.2 million after spending a combined 17 years in prison for armed robbery convictions that were eventually thrown out.

A 12-year-old Forest Hills girl collected $115,000 after her arrest for doodling on her junior high school desk with a green erasable marker.

And a small-time thief banked $150,000 after accusing cops of smashing his head through the windshield of a car while he was in handcuffs.

The hefty sums were among 35 settlements and judgments worth $100,000 or more that the city paid between July 1, 2011, and June 30, 2012, to end lawsuits accusing the NYPD of violating civil rights, DNAinfo.com New York has learned.

In total, the three-dozen cases cost the city $22.8 million, according to data compiled by the city comptroller's office.

The largest payout this past year was $15 million to settle a class-action lawsuit accusing police of illegal arrests for loitering.

I'd like to add, Gordon's advice assumes you only have a handgun or the cops are wearing rifle ballistic plates. Good thing most cops don't wear ballistic plates, just standard Level III body armor that is good for most handgun rounds. Most rifle rounds will penetrate officer friendly's Level III body armor. Even then, it's no picnic getting shot with body armor on or on the ballistic plates. Use a rifle and Officer friendly will go down. Make sure you follow Gordon's advice and follow up with a double tap to the head. Plus, if presented with a side shot, take it, and aim for just below the arm pit.

One more bit of advice. This is counter to Gordons advice, but keeping in the spirit of the discussion. Lacking extensive training or combat experience, Aim low. Head shots maybe hard to pull off while experiencing an adrenaline dump. So aiming at Belt buckle would be nice. The Familiy jewels even better. Most Big City SWAT Team members are trained to ignore wounded team members and eliminate the threat first. However, the sight of fellow SWAT officers getting their ball and tackle shot off may persuade them otherwise.

Friday Advice for dealing with the tyranical police state and their minions.

So You want to Start an upridsing 101

Use their popensity for rushing in on scenes and punishing cop killers to your advange. In a hypthetical scenario, you start your small uprising by ambushing a patrol car. Call in a simple domestic dispute report. As the pigs roll up on the house number you gave them, you wait for them to exit the patrol car. Once they are clear of the cars, you and a partner start the engagement with bolt action or semi-auto rifles- any caliber .223 or above. Bolt action rifles are preferred, as quickly policing up the brass is easier. Aim center mass with the cross hairs or iron sights lined up on the family jewels. Once all the officers are dead, loot and burn the patrol cars and flee the scene. If you have done the prep work and have the time: hang them from a telephone poles.

Latter on, say 24-48 hours, call in an tip that the perps are hiding out in a particular house or building. The cops wil rush in to cordon off the area and start planning on how they are going to kill the cop killers and avoid undue public notice. With their attention on the house\building, they won't realise they are sitting in a huge enfilade ambush with interlocking fields of semi auto fire, designated marksmen and IEDs.

If you have a small group, I wouldn't try what I'm about to decribe. Continue with hit and run targets until you have a large enough group. However, if you have a group of at least 60, this is the basic plan .

Order of battle
Squad 1- Assault riflemen (12 men in 4 x 3 man teams)
Squad 2- Designated marksmen (6 men in 3 x 2 man teams)
Squad 3- Semi auto riflemen (12 men in 4 x 3 man teams)
Squad 4- Security (20 men in 4 x 5 man teams)
Squad 5- Chaos (8 men in 2 x 4 man teams)

No tactical clothing or gear. You want to blend in with he surrounding population when you are done. Plus, you don't want any undue attention. Dressing like a delta opperator or Spetnaz dip ship is called undue attention.

Ambush Prep
Prep the ambush site with IEDs, homemade napalm etc.
Rig the target Building to blow up.
ID the buildings police snipers are going to most likely use
ID the people in charge- this won't take long as they will be walking around shouting orders.
Wait for the police to cordon off the area. They will use single squad cars or motorcycle cops.
Have several escape routes planned with rally and alternate rally points designated
OPSEC- all info is to memorized- no aper trail

The plan
Start the ambush when the SWAT team to enters the building or house, by setting off the first IED, and killing the SWAT team; Simultaniously your assualt teams storm the surrounding area roof tops and take out police snipers and start engaging air assests; your designated marksmen take out the leadership and then move onto targets of opportunity; your semi auto rifle men rake the objective with sepressive interlocking enfilade rifle fire. Mad minute at first and then controlled rifle fire; while your security teams over run police road blocks and block intersections with burning squad cars and or other vehicles; Chaos teams roam the outer parimeter engaing in hit and run tactics, blocking key intersections with burning vehicles, and keeping authorties off balance; at random intervals set off IEDs: finish off the ambush with a mad minute.

Don't target civilians; hearts and minds etx. However, the press is fair game. As mouth pieces for the police\nanny state they deserve a messy end. Targeting air assests is a must. In the early days of a conflict, concentrated rifle fire wil clear the air of survailance. This includes the media. As the authorities realise they are dealing with an uprising they will bring in military air assests.

Pull out in by teams going to more than one direction. Assualt, designated rifle men, and semi auto teams first, followed by security teams, and finally by the roaming chaos teams.

This will only work once or twice, as the cops will know they are dealing with an uprising. However this should start your little uprising quite nicely and put the Fear of god into their facist hides.
