Thanks to the magic of google maps, I can actually go back to the site. The road has been heinously overgraded unfortunately in the last 35 years (jeebus, that's a long time ago), used to launch you a steep ramp, but you can still see marks on the pavement where other cars have bottomed out. We flew way, way past this mark.
