Sam Adams recently is selling in my area twelve packs labelled "hopology" consisting of variations of styles expressed as IPAs. I'm here to tell you "Grumpy Monk" is worth sampling. An abbey style hopped like an IPA , it works really well.

Bought a 12 pack of this when it was on sale at my local supermarket a week and a half ago. At first turned my nose up at it because its not as hoppy as Dale's. But the more I've had it over the last several days the more I've liked it, and I can see why its a classic. Still prefer Dale's and SN's Torpedo, but I have to admit this is a solid beer.

Please assure me that IGx'ers do not get drunk off of beer. I realize I've been damned with the tolerance of a bull elephant with an alpha rhino for back-up, but me aside, none of the males I hang out with can get bombed from beer....none of the white ones, anyway.

To clarify, the "handle with care" warning applies to Oskar Blues' Ten Fidy, which is 10.5% alcohol. It's more than double the ABV of most regular beers. It tastes great, so you want to drink it fast...hence the warning.
I'm actually more of a red wine drinker, I've just been on a craft beer kick for about a year. I'm not much of liquor guy.
