I never backed down from the post I made there that started this whole thing. Well, I guess it was really the post I made here that started this whole thing. I'm moving back into more KBs but I never had a problem with CF as a way to train. There are some very hard training guys there. I pretty heavily modify it, as do more and more people there, and have a little article in the next "Performance Menu" (CF Norcal's e-mag) on that subject.
After now having done a second 2-3 month run of CF style training I'm moving back to KBs more again. I don't think I've ever gotten back into the shape I got into when I first discovered KBs. I'm going to do a little 60 day experiment with KBs and running and see what happens.

All joking aside, I dig lifting the kb's. I've got two 24's, one 28, two 32's, and one 40 all setting on the fireplace. Looks weird and when someone comes over they're always trying to fuck with them. Maybe that's a lot but I fuck around with them a couple of times a week in one fashion or 'nother. I have two 20 lb. clubbells that get used as well. Throw in some squat, bench and deads, weighted pullups and dips, some rowing and running and that's it.

Bill, are you going to start posting a log here again? If not, where? Would like to know so that I can follow along with your experiment. Your "Theory Sucks" and "Skinny Sumo" logs involved some nice training. I really like that style of KBs, bodyweight and DLs.
