Just imagine the OTW discussions on the Xfit boards. Will be fun to watch.

That sort of conversation is crushed as soon as it's noticed.

Let no one speak of the decimation of the Crossfit Mother Ship!

Actually, now I think of it they probably won't.
At first I thought about the obsessive nutriding of the cult leaders and the neet for cultfitters to belong - thus requiring them to attack their splinter groups to protect their little ego's.

What I'd forgotten though, is the whole "the wod isn't @fit - everything is @fit" which allows them to take credit for any and all training.

Certainly, if "everything" is...

I can't even begin to comment on this.

I was losing interest in X-fit and then Glasshole insulted my hero Dan John.

I wouldn't piss on Glasshole if he was on fire.

It makes me happy that I've got somewhere around 30 of the first X-fit journals without ever dropping a dime.

A big name trainer I know has been getting hate mail from Crossfitters because his new DVD is apparently ripping Crossfit off.

Hate mail? I thought IGx was the modern version of hate mail.

Hate Email. He says he's gotten about 30 or so, so I figure on the XF forum, someone's riled 'em up.

Apparently I rip off Crossfit every time I go to the gym.

Please. I've seen your training log. It's a cross between Senior Living and Flex.

One of the downsides of the Internet is that it allows like-minded people to form communities, and sometimes those communities are stupid.

Still confused about my little Sling Blade "some calls this I calls em that" reference? You're a much bigger dolt than I gave you credit for. =D> As for pressing swing bells I will gladly battle you in that arena anytime although I will humbly submit to you on the various new age sports, barbell curls and brisk power walks. I still find you more of a pitiable character than a contemptible one but that may soon change. For now you may run along while the men talk.

I would like to find out who organized the attack on Cosgrove. I find it odd, at best. Nearly everything that Alwyn puts together is classic training packaged in an intelligent format...certainly this doesn't reflect ...

Thoughts?

Did anyone notice the kipping push up vid today? Is that now part of the dogma? Anything to crank out on extra rep.

The toys at the Human Evolution Lab look like fun. Invitation only to the HEL too I see.

Good stuff as always from Dan John.

Link has scantly clad men / women, probably not work safe:

Dan John: Porno king of fitness!

I can't find the Cosgrove chatter without reading the entire site and I don't have the patience nor the stomach for that.

I didn't know what this was about, so I googled "crossfit" with "cosgrove" and turned up the funniest thing I've read in months:

http://board.crossfit.com/showthread.php?t=26981
Crossfit is the best program for Bodybuilding
Prove me wrong.

What derives more muscle growth:

Full body lifts or compound lifts?

3 x 8 - 10 reps 3 - 4 times a week or varied rep range - high intensity (closer to 1 rep max) 6 times a week?

What cuts body fat faster LSD (on a treadmill) or High intensity weighted interval training?

Two of the most popular "new age" bodybuilding and fat cutting programs are Chad Waterbury's "Anti Bodybuilding Program" and Cosgrove's "After Burn". Put them together and you have a program very close to Crossfit.

Point me to fitness models or bodybuilders who look better than Nicole or Eva.

Crossfit, blows away any program for putting on mass on the back and legs...all the muscles you can't see in the mirror.

Prove me wrong....
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL...it's impossible to know where to begin with that manbitch. But since, it's Valentine's Day, I'd like to send a special message out to Mrs. Glassman...baby, I'm sorry for all the pain, the loneliness, the sleepless nights, but if you could just get past my huge cock, brass knuckles and razor wit, you'd see me for the gentle lover that I am. Right here, right now, right on.

Heh. That's Larry from Chicago. He says he posted that to piss people off and get them challenging the GWF's assertion the @fit is best for bodybuilding.
Turned out to be more cult affirmation instead.
