"armed forces of the US" started to war only in 1944.

"up until Hitler betrayed Stalin, Germany and the USSR were allies" Stalin offers aliense to Cherchl and american president (don't remember name) against Hitler, but they don't wanted in that time.

One of us is a victim of the biggest, most intimidating propaganda machine in the 20th century.

It might be me, but, then again, it might not.

The historical records of Western Europe and the United States hadn't fallen under the sway of the Communist Party, or any other political unit with that much raw power, for that matter.

Bill, I have nothing but respect and admiration for Russia, her people and her culture. On the other hand, I think that Stalin hurt many people. I think it's best to leave it at that. It is natural for people on opposite sides of the world see things differently, but it's also better to focus on what we have in common.

The Munich Agreement (Czech: Mnichovská dohoda; Slovak: Mníchovská dohoda; German: Münchner Abkommen) was an agreement regarding the Sudetenland Crisis among the major powers of Europe after a conference held in Munich, Germany, in 1938 and signed in the early hours of September 30. The purpose of the conference was to discuss the future of Czechoslovakia in the face of territorial demands made by German dictator Adolf Hitler. The agreement, signed by Nazi Germany, France, Britain, and Italy permitted German annexation of Czechoslovakia's Sudetenland. The Sudetenland was of immense strategic importance to Czechoslovakia, as most of its border defenses were situated there.

To be clear, I wasn't judging.

The politics of the time had all sorts of stuff going on.

Your perspective as a Russian or ex-Soviet, on Ghengis Khan was interesting.

Hi
American!
I am from Russia, sql.ru forum.

What i want to say is America is the best country in the world. i think it is one of liveable country. To be honest i know many people who left RU and they live in America .i guess than life in America much better than life in Russia.

As example.

1)There is a lot of corruption in RU. There is a lot of danger in RU. I am seating and looking through the window at pedestrian crossing now. Noone driver want to stop before pedestrians. There is 30 000 people die on the road in Russian every year.

2) it is not possible to buy bachalor flat in Moscow. it costs 250 000 $ but average salary is 1 000$ in Moscow.

"By his estimates, Stalinist famines and purges had led to the deaths of 20 million people."
