It's also the awesome that Pavel cited "Supertraining" a couple of times, since he had to know that Siff had also previously savaged Glassman.Jack wrote:Charismatic megafauna wrote:that pavel, despite his marketing errors, has always done a good job of laying it out.
I was about to say the same thing. He totally fucking owned that fat idiotic Xfit Coach founding douche.

Caoch Petrino was a real person, and had been called upon to mediate an Intarweb dispute. The troll was in such a hurry to register the username, that he failed to check the spelling. It kind of stuck, and the rest, as they say, is history. The Shafpocalypse wrote:There's a filter on the P&B that turns "coach" into "caoch" which is bit of a tribute to an old, favorite troll, caoch petrino.

Speaking of the old days, didn't you have a WGM Pussylegging Manifesto or something? That was hilarious.WildGorillaMan wrote:Caoch Petrino was a real person, and had been called upon to mediate an Intarweb dispute. This quote is very informative.
Forty fucking plus years old and she can't afford to live on her own?I know I can't afford to live alone and finding a place to rent with a dog will be tough. All I can do is pray everything works out.

Equally telling is that her approach to problem solving is "prayer" and a public non-appeal appeal for help. LOL at it being tough to find a place that allows dogs.Batboy2/75 wrote:This quote is very informative.

One of the downsides of the Internet is that it allows like-minded people to form communities, and sometimes those communities are stupid.

It was certainly tough to keep all of the Ultimate Wild Manbeasts straight back then, but WildBoarMan was the first.
Monsieur Literary Lifter coined the word "Pussylegs," IIRC.

Re: The couch thread
Actually, it's rampant everywhere and Spells hit it on the head. It's passive/aggressive behavior at its worst. I don't want to find a decent job because that would mean responsibility, and I'm not about that. I can't live alone because I can't hold a real job (see above) and I'm needy as hell. So, I'll just sit here and "pray" for help; ie, wait for one of you poor suckers to come along and offer me a super cheap place to live so I can have my dog shit all over your house because I like to go running for 18 hours at a time. Good plan IMHO.Rant wrote:Grandpa's Spells wrote:Equally telling is that her approach to problem solving is "prayer" and a public non-appeal appeal for help. LOL! This is so West Coast.
Her shtick has been around since the late 70's and even earlier. In the late 70's, punks in England would wear torn clothing, multiple piercings, and cut their hair into Mohawks, all in an effort to avoid getting a job and stay on the "dole." It really wasn't so much about "anarchy" or "chaos" as it was an effort to live a lifestyle of boozing, drugging, and music.
I see little difference between them and the beloved Dirt Devil. BTW, she fancies herself a "trainer" then suggests a "Tabata Fran." Gave me my first LOL of the day.
