All the banning stuff is just funny. How good can a place be, if I'm a member?

Are there any exCFers around here aside from me? George Mounce stopped posting several pages back, as you might remember.
Edit: Wait a second, Dan John is banned from the CrossFit boards? What the fuck for? I thought he simply stopped posting there because he got tired of that shit. I didn't even realize that he was banned.
didn't know DJ was bant? how the fuck can you be in this thread and not have that basic bit of info. it's on like page 2 or something. did you not read any of this monumental contribution to american society? you just hopped in with no concept of context and started yammering away...
have you ever been as far as even considered go want to do look more like?

Re: The couch thread
I picked a few random pages and got the gist of things. It's not like it's a novel where there's a flowing plotline (though I bet some of you here will disagree). Do you expect me to read all two-hundred and thirty-fucking-five pages of this? At some point, I might, but for the time being, hell no.sanchezero wrote:didn't know DJ was bant? how the fuck can you be in this thread and not have that basic bit of info. it's on like page 2 or something. did you not read any of this monumental contribution to american society? you just hopped in with no concept of context and started yammering away...

Re: The couch thread
Actually, I am banned from Crossfit. The interesting thing is that nobody knows (at Crossfit)) knows why. On the phone, Greg explained to me that it was not him and one of the mods, a very nice person, said the mods had nothing to do with it.
I will note: I never said anything inflammatory in the Crossfit Threads. I never "trolled" or called people out for anything, including idiocy (which, believe it or not, can happen on intraweb forums).
If you can find the "Post Incident" messages that I wrote on Crossfit's Message Boards, you will find that I did not mention any of the issues.
Patrick, email me, if you like, anytime: [email protected]
I would be happy to talk with you about things.

You remind me of the lazy cops I went to law school with. That was always their complaint.

Take the 20 min. and scan the thread. Not just the Cliff's Notes.

No one cares. I'd expect a moron like you to be involved in a religulous organization. Nothing about that is offensive to my sensibilities.Patrick Donnelly wrote: I'm a Catholic twat, at that.
It's only troubling when people who otherwise deserve a measure of respect, are involved in religion. (D John, Fat Cat, PL54 etc..)

I still think Styrofoam weights for that PVC would be a cash cow.
Another seller would be a baggie and a rubber band. You use the band to secure the baggy to one end of the PVC. Then when you need to puke you do it into your PVC and it goes right into the bag. You don't even have to walk to the garbage pail. Big advantage to your Fran time.

I still can't believe that these fucksticks pay $1000 fucking dollars to learn how to "overhead press" from a tattooed douchebag or pony-tailed harlotte who knows jackshit about pressing aside from what s/he read in a Mark Rippetoe book. Read a book, get a few hours of training, and PRESTO! Overhead press expert!*

Hell, half the people that teach at the certs probably haven't read Rip's book. You can pay $1000 for traipsing around like a jackass in a large group, or you can pay half that and learn the actual lifts from Burg or Rip.protobuilder wrote:I still can't believe that these fucksticks pay $1000 fucking dollars to learn how to "overhead press" from a tattooed douchebag or pony-tailed harlotte who knows jackshit about pressing aside from what s/he read in a Mark Rippetoe book. ...and if you spend time with Rip in person you can contribute to the "funny things Rip said" thread without having to first say "There was this time I heard from a pal of mine that he heard that Rip said something funny".Gin Master wrote:Hell, half the people that teach at the certs probably haven't read Rip's book. These nimrods have inspired me to take a few 20kg bags of cement and some D-ring handles to Build-A-Bear workshop and begin manufacturing CuddleBellstm.

Vermont Teddybells! Shit! I could've used that around Vallentine's Day.WildGorillaMan wrote:

Guaranteed to get the Dirt Diva, Sharibaybee, and ANYC (maybe the Snowangel?) to drop the laundry upon sight!

Wouldn't a forty of tequila, a couple grams of coke and a Twister mat be sufficient?

Re: The couch thread
You know a good plan for a successful seminar could be:
Girls with nice butts get tuition waved, air ticket and hotel payed. Maybe a little spending cash. They get to keep any "tips" they might receive.
Guys pay, of course. Do some exercises to show off the girls. I think you could pack in the crowds. Word would spread quickly.
Just an idea. I don't believe this is currently happening or anything....
