Another way would be to look at his work capacity and other training (as reflected in his pre and post Linda work for that session) and think, “I’m aiming to get to his Linda time but will do it doing some fraction of the total workout or training time.” One goal of CrossFit, it seems to me, is to get there with a minimum (maybe “optimal” is a better word) amount of gym time, at least for GPP-seeking desk jockeys.

Higher level CrossFitters (I mean within the CrossFitting community, not calling them higher than someone in some other community) might think, Heck, I’m almost keeping up with a national caliber powerlifter in Linda and can still do X min miles for 10K, X min for 2K row, X min on Barbara, front lever pullups, and 5 muscle-ups” (or whatever--does that person really exist? Seems to among the elite CFers). On the other hand, good luck trying to match him on his powerlifting weights! Jeebus.
Are you fucking kidding me!?!

75Kg lifters (the average size of most @fit "men") are putting up 575 squats and 675 deads. They don't do Linda becasue their coaches would kill them for fucking up a work out day with bitch weights. I have seen maybe 3 @fitters DL more than 400lbs and even less sqaut over 350lbs. Then on 10K days these assholes are crying about their niplles hurting and running 50-60min 6.2 milers! Thats not sub elite, that's a fucking joke. They want to talk about Reggie Bush and the likes. Those guys don't do GPP because they don't need to. Wellbourne got involved with @fit because he is washed up in football and no one wants him to endorse anthing. You notice Tate and the likes all go over AFTER they are in the declining of their careers.

Sometimes, in our passion for CrossFit, we forget that there could be things more important than CrossFit. (Maybe?) Quick, name two.
1. CrossFit
2. CrossFit

What's more important than CrossFit?

1. The Dreaded Rest Day
2. I can't think of anything else...

Allright, who is going to buy one and seed teh bit torrent? I cannot wait to watch it, oh the joy and the pain it must contain!
Every Second Counts takes an inside look at the CrossFit culture and community, where time on a stopwatch reigns as the supreme measure of performance. Those who reach the elite ranks in the burgeoning sport of CrossFit
Might Couch's end game, that the minions are incapable of understanding, be becoming the new Dana White - except that Couch will own 100% of the new sport. Maybe the next Vince McMahon would be a better analogy. Couch may be all the reviled things he's called here, but the man has vision, focus, charisma (apparently), and ruthlessness just like Dana and Vince.
One thing is for damn sure...the guy is a good businessman. I'm starting to think he could sell water to a whale. "Welcome to the World Increased Work Capacity Across Broad Time And Modal Domains League." I wonder if they'll have a players union and all (The WIWCABTAMDLPA). Before each game, they'll sing the @F fight song, while saluting the @F flag, which will of course be flying above the US flag.
Players Union? No way if he's truly like Vince McMahon he'll sign all the "athletes" as independent contractors (like the WWE) so they have have to provide their own health benefits., he'll get out of paying the cooperate half of the Soc Sec taxes, 401k matches, etc. He'll just send them a 1099 at years end and be done with it.

How about this one?
My initial response was husband and family and then I checked the comments and realized I should have put God up there too (oops).
My main passion is life is music and I love CrossFit because it has made me a better musician. There are times I focus less on CF because music stuff is busy and there are times I can hit the WODS hard because I don't have much going on musically but I can say wholeheartedly that CrossFit has made me a better musician (and wife) and I want to share CrossFit with others so that it can make them better at the things in their lives.
Do @F...you'll be able to play the guitar better. Who wants to start @F Music? 3 rounds for time of 21-15-9: Take a line of Columbia's finest, fuck a groupie, try to remember three notes in a row.

On a topic drift, but is there anything people won't turn into a sport and a competition? Hell, they have jetski slalom leage with competitions and their own magazine. Xfit games were inevitable. No reason why there won't eventually be a magazine, reality TV show, etc.

Seriously, what the fuck?

Those are poarts of the original wall for fuck's sake.
Who the fuck does handstands on that? In public? I mean, if those are, where they think they are, it's pretty much in one of the most crowded places in Berlin.

Charmingly, it looks like he also scrambled up to the handstand with his toes (stomach's facing the wall). Unless he cartwheeled into it, which is extremely implausible.
