I can't see Welbourn breaking with couch this early in the game. However, given that couch's band of nutswingers might feel threatened by a real live athlete, you never know what could happen.

I only know that many are nothing more than someones back yard transformed into a workout space for a few of the neighbors and interested passers-by. That sums up my experience working out with @fit Huntington Beach. Nice people who had a decent house right next to the Bolsa Chica Wetlands. We ran about half a mile to a hill where we did hill sprints for about 10 min.; ran back to the house where we did their WOD (IIRC, thrusters, dips, wallball, run). It was me and 4 hausfraus going at it. They also did a load of stretching which was frowned upon by the @fit cognescenti.

There were, at the time, about 4 other affiliates in Huntington Beach alone that were nothing more than that. I believe the recent trend is to encourage bigger, better, badder affiliates. As a matter of fact, I was rudely awakened yesterday by Andy Petronak and his CFLA bunch on the local morning news. Interesting.

I would agree. The only "interruption" I remember ever seeing was when someone needed a bar pulled off of his chest. Unfortunately, I've seen that several times over the years.

The comments on that video are a riot. If I had a penny for every time a weak-ass CrossFitter criticized the ROM of a guy a magnitude stronger than him, I'd be one rich man.
