In a way Crossfit has become victim of its own success, because when newbies flood the board, you need experienced posters who can help these people out with quality information. But instead it seems that even people that lack experience when it comes to training seem to find it quality behaviour to bash people training at other gyms.

All those people should note that training at a Crossfit Affiliate or doing the Mainpage WOD doesn't mean squat when it comes to performance or fitness. Then there are the issues of the mainpage WOD programming: I never followed the WOD, because I do my own programming and train according to how I feel and what I want to achieve. But with some of the recent creations from HQ, I got serious doubts. First there was this phase of doing ridiculous amounts of pull ups, then there was the workout with the "One-hand" pull-ups and now Turkish Get Ups for time? I mean really? TGUs are a great exercise but not when done for time, never ever! I wonder who came up with that brilliant idea... obviously someone that has never done TGUs in his life.

Then there was the whole Robb Wolff story and Crossfit looked really really bad. Robb knows his stuff, his articles in the Journal were always quality and he offers a lot of advice and interesting reads on his blog. It was a shame how he got treated and excommunicated from the Crossfit community. All this to embrace the Zone Diet? Are you crazy? The Zone is a fine cutting diet, but nothing for the long term, especially not for someone training hard. I could live with all that if HQ didn't react like a spoiled brat. Censoring the boards, putting members on a tight leech where comments had to be approved by moderators, closing or simply deleting entire discussions, even civil ones... The inability to accept criticism simply shows that Crossfit is not mature enough. You can't claim to form an elite if you are stubborn and self righteous. The feeling of being elite while dismissing the opinions of others is a sure recipe for disaster.

And then came the most stupid move ever: the *** porn thing. That was so stupid and incredibly childish that I have difficulties finding work. Then when the whole story blew up in the stupid faces of those responsible, they tried to blame it on I-G-X! Come on! I work in the web business, I know exactly how this thing came to be. Maybe those who aren't as tech savvy as myself by into those lies, but I for myself know exactly how the situation was. There aren't even two sides of this story, as the technical configuration is proof enough to find those to blame.

Sorry for the long posting, but I needed to rant. I'm pretty sure that this gets censored too, so I'll take a screen capture. If my post disappears, you can delete my account as well. I'd rather hang out on boards which are so censored that China looks like an ideal model of free speech.

Question to our legal staff, affiliate wondering if taking x-fit to small claims for the RRG is worth the effort.

I did it dozens of times with customers not paying. Always got paid just before the court date.

Another question, same person, to whom or where do you serve the papers?

I said I would ask, cuz you guys seemed to be dialed in to almost anything.
