Fake. Baby looks happy and couch is not an athlete.

Re: The couch thread
An open letter to Jeb, because I know he or his buds are reading this:
Dear Jeb,
No, I have not endangered any of my kids. I have worked my ass off to protect them from stupid and teach them to avoid poor risks. I get you are just a dude who made a mistake when caught up in having a little fun. I will share with you it is time to grow the hell up. You messed up. How about a you folks are right and thanks for the input. I will try to do better...?
Nobody is a naturally great parent. We all make mistakes raising our kids. But raising 135 pounds precariously above your baby's head is not a mistake. It is a misjudgement of pretty big proportion.
End this story by apologizing to your wife and kid and tell your gym bros the risk is too great for the reward of a picture. Screw the rest of us, but don't screw up your kids. They will make you happier (and sadder) than any workout or community you will ever play in by far.
Be smart and press on

What's the scoop here?

Que?The staff at OlyAthlete is sad to announce that we are officially shutting down our site. Due to various different life demands and a cease and desist letter from the United State Olympic Committee we have decided that our best course is to dissolve OlyAthlete. We want to thank all of our friends, followers, and readers for supporting OlyAthlete over the past year. Its been a great experience for all of us, and we're thankful for the great friends and relationships we've made along the way. Below is contact info for each of the creators and contributor of this site. Thanks again to everyone, and keep moving those barbells fast!

Re: The couch thread
That's pretty funny but scary at the same time. It would be safer for a baby to be strapped to Stevie Wonder ice skating through Jurassic Park than to be strapped to Couch during a whiteboard video.CFB wrote:With all this babysquatter stuff going on I forgot about couch's old whiteboard vids...

Re: The couch thread
USOC trademarks and enforces the fuck out of the term "Olympic." Using Olympic in a sporting context for a commercial venture is likely to get somebody a letter. Happened to Sonnon when he tried to create "Olympic Clubbell Sport."WildGorillaMan wrote:What's the scoop here?

In these guys' cases, "Oly" may have been enough to attract attention.
One of the downsides of the Internet is that it allows like-minded people to form communities, and sometimes those communities are stupid.

Re: The couch thread
Spider Chick is an old Couch nutswinger from way back. She is 100% on the kool aid and certifiably insane. Spider Monkey is a different girl. Several of us know who she is. She's fine.Elphaba Thropp wrote:What contradictory posts?Turdacious wrote:Explain the contradictory posts.Elphaba Thropp wrote:What? I love Marines. They are the bravest of all.
edit. Oh. Read back. I'm not spider chick. Spider monkey. Different species. I don't know who spider chick is. I don't hang out with fowl.

I'd say on the bottom of that self-actualisation pyramid shit, proper decent coffee is in there with wifi, tits, food and shelter
Re: The couch thread
also of note, it would appear he has 225 on the bar and pressed it or push pressed it (most likely)
all w/o injuring the pig
