Yeah, I remember reading an interview with him/article on him a while ago that was after the first few F&F movies but before 5 & 6 that said he didn't care for the Hollywood scene and it was all about this surf house he'd bought in the Philipines, Thailand or somewhere in SE Asia, I seem to remember he'd even done a lot of work on it himself.
