I've seen cars on fire but I thought "crash, catch on fire, EXPLODE" was the kind of shit that only happens in movies.

Sucks. Seemed like a cool guy. I remember reading some story on him where he definitely seemed like he was a pretty laid back dude.

Now people who confused him with Heath Ledger are going to have a hell of a time.

My wife was a super fan of the fast and furious franchise, and is seriously bummed.

Yeah, I remember reading an interview with him/article on him a while ago that was after the first few F&F movies but before 5 & 6 that said he didn't care for the Hollywood scene and it was all about this surf house he'd bought in the Philipines, Thailand or somewhere in SE Asia, I seem to remember he'd even done a lot of work on it himself. Googling just now to try and find the article, it says he was a brown belt in BJJ.

Shame he had to die in the quarter million dollar car. Couldn't he just choose ford focus or something?

The only thing that should celebtated is they didn't kill anyone else.

There is a very high probability (as in Obvious) he was speeding and using the streets of Santa Clarita CA as his own private race track. Unless evidensce surfaces otherwise; he and his buddy are douchebags.

I don't give two shits how much he hated Hollywood (but still took it's money) or his hand carved surf bungalow in Thailand or his Brown belt in BJJ. All evidence points to the fact that yesterday he and his buddy were royal douchbags and they reaped what they sowed.
Arms are the only true badge of liberty. The possession of arms is the distinction of the free man from the slave.

I prefer dangerous freedom over peaceful slavery.

It does seem like the same death scenario as the TapouT guy who crashed...

From the debris & wreckage, they were going 2-3X the speed limit…every bit as reckless as cranking rounds down Main Street.

It's a fucked-up culture that goes into hysterical mourning over the death of a B movie actor, but the death of a soldier gets a yawn and a "Meh."

This!

Yet if the press shoves it in our faces, like when Bush was Prez, people piss themselves and forget that no one gets sent to war, they volunteer for the military these days and they also act like casualties that any WW2 officer would consider light are made to look like a bloodbath and a defeat. (But when the Help became POTUS, they ignore the rise in casualties in Afghanistan -even a few months in Iraq before the big pull out- due largely to BS ROEs, put in place by a undeclared Muslim cunt.)

Basically most Americans are stupid, emotionalist cunts, who care about what they are told to care about.

Sure Walker sounded like a cool guy, they were also hauling ass and did not have to.

Fuck 'em.

Everyone on IGX has been asses. Paul Walker sat as a stuntman [supposedly experienced] broke the law. So let us throw stones living in a glass house. He was a decent guy.. who didn't make a good decision... don't over think this.
