The Pop Press
Visit us at http://www.defylimitations.com. Video demo of Luke doing what I've called a "pop press". It's not quite a push press (it has virtually no hip involvement), and doesn't work with any major weight, but it's pretty dang fast and may have some value for building work capacity.
Yes, not quite.

I pledge allegiance to the WOD,

for which it stands -
one program, under Greg,
irrefutable,
with PVC and air squats for all.

It should be said at the start of every class at every affiliate gym.

Joe, I know - I'm not very good at being much other than Mr. Nice Guy, as was discussed before. It'll take time.

Also, I don't drink. That's not going to change any time in the next few years.

My university's gymnastics club requires that its members be drug/alcohol free. I'm not going to say that I would drink if I were not part of the club, but as long as I am a member, I'm not going to even consider it.

Wow, no wonder men turn gay, it's really easy to get laid. Almost too easy, no sport in it. I will pass on the camping, sorry Patrick, you will have to find love elsewhere.

They are defeating the purpose of the shovel deadlift by grasping so close the collar on the weighted end of the bar.

They aren't afraid to lift with fucking PVC and yet they let their ego keep from using a lighter weight on a long lever to actually get the full benefit of the lift.

Yet another reason to fucking hate cultfitters.

Ed, you aren't suggesting that a single 25lb plate on the bar is a heavy weight, are you?

Finally finished this: http://patrickhdonnelly.blogspot.com/20 ... -wall.html
I know it's not nearly as virulent as you guys would like to see, but:
1. That's not my style, as you guys know.
2. It's not addressed to you; I don't have to convince you guys that something is whack with the program. It's addressed to CrossFitters, partially as a response to my being banned and partially as a wake-up call for them.

Hopefully they won't hit the snooze.

It's obviously heavy for that chickenhead since she's doing it wrong.

Way too long. No one will read it except Couch, looking for more names to ban.

Probably. We'll see though. The detail at least shows that I have a good knowledge of the program and bothered to consider many aspects of it. I'm being reasonable, not just spouting off whatever trash and bullshit.

Edit: Anyway... Back to page 1 here with me. I have some reading to do.

Edit: Dammit. Why is every single link fucking broken? Not just the Crossfit ones either, but the ones here too. Did the threads get cropped in the free speech forum?
