We have a HUGE tire. We got it from a concrete company, we initially estimated it to be about 500lbs. But no one could even budge it. After a little research and some guessing we figure it to be about 700lbs. Thanks to Rob Orlando's main page vid, we learned how to actually do the tire flip correctly. Now we have a handful of people who can flip it, and whoever flips it gets a free t-shirt! I've given away 2.

Enough rambling, what I'm getting at it is, if you don't have a lot of equipment, a huge tire is great thing to have around. It looks like you mean business, it's like having 4-5 24 inch plyo boxes for free, great for practicing parkour (jumps, vaults, etc.) and it makes a good post WOD seat.

WGM does a terrific jorb pulling this all together every week. one of them powerpoint files .PPS with some porn music playing would be a more powerful presentation, but I think that is asking too much.

I thought the exact same thing. Even the fatties on the biggest loser got it right. Plus they did it with a medicine ball on their laps.

@fit fucks up everything they touch. If they can't teach a wall sit how the fuck are they going to teach a clean and jerk?

We did those at the end of our off-season dry land workouts in Crew. Compared to the other shit we had to do as Oarsmen, they were actually kind of relaxing.

Well, it has now become obvious. Much like the gymnastics cert (which isn't really a part of @F workouts), now they will definitely need to come out with an isometrics cert.

I have a 700 and a 900 lb tire. We call the 700 the "little one" or the "warmup tire"...ok for conditioning (9-12 flips at the start and end of training) but not much else. Assuming that you aren't a giant pussy, of course.

Yes, I put food on the table by getting results and retaining clients.
I'm not saying clients should do the same movements for years, but doing random shit leads nowhere and clients won't stay.

Shitty trainers at my gym that have usually hit the door not long after all their clients leave.

If someone wants to lose fat I tailor the program to that, if they want to get strong then we focus on that, etc...

Being a creative trainer and one that gets results are not mutually exclusive.
