If Glassman had ever done the work to get a paper published, he'd know what the place of peer review is. Those of us who actually work in scientific endeavors are familiar with the benefits and weaknesses of peer review.

Funny shit here!
Things will be solved through "competition" this year. The whole preliminary regional/sectional bullshit is to eliminate non-crossfitters from the Games. The application process asks what the participants "bests" are in various lifts. Since each venue can pick and choose what the events are, there will be things chosen to "favor" some and make things more "difficult" for others.

@F has always been known for stacking the deck in their own athletes' favor. In the first Gaymes, certain choice people learned of the competed exercises something like a week ahead of everyone else.Dan Martin wrote:Things will be solved through "competition" this year. It's really not fair that Jag's putting the hurt on Puss Greene and Jason Twat-skin. Apparently keeping one hand on Daniel's back, next to the gin bottle, qualifies as a gymnastics move.

Hey Brad...your max isn't even quite to the top of my warmup sets. So much for "your workout is our warmup." Elite, indeed.Chad Cilli - 365? Nice
Brad Miles - Actually 335lbs. thanks
Chad Cilli - Those are some thick 10 pounders. That's a damn good lift!
Russ Greene - This is a badass picture.
Re: The couch thread
I could be wrong but I think that is a ladies' bar. Something inherently wrong with going for a max on such a thing.

Loads of information about what "core strength" means. OK, it's actually a couple of minutes of patent nonsense. But there is a cool stick figure at the end.
Preach it, my leader.
Also, looks like couch just woke up and sounds like he has a cold.
